I really reaaaaaaally hate when people say this.  You are not special. Your feelings and circumstances are not unique. Anything you’re feeling has been felt a billion times over during the course of history. If you want to alienate people, at least be honest about it. And quit complaining if you don’t want help or advice or empathy. Or at least use a disclaimer to let people know you’re just whining for whining’s sake.  Also, don’t assume what emotions others do or do not have the capacity to experience. Blah blah blah.

yeah. i’m always afraid to say or think anything about anyone else, but if someone relates to you, that’s not a bad thing. and if they’re mistaken, fucking speak up. explain your experience better. perhaps they can relate to that too. your pain isn’t more valid if you won’t talk and force everyone to give you the benefit of the doubt, and mine isn’t less because i can be honest about it. maybe i’m quite alone in this, but i’d rather have a friend who makes me uncomfortable and think and who is honest than one who tries to entertain me. especially if you don’t know what i even like because of the whole communication breakdown thing.
while i was typing this my cat walked into my room, jumped up next to me, and pressed the top of his head to my lips. i kissed him and he ran off. so fuck y’all.
seriously, though, let’s live genuine lives and be honest with ourselves and others.
